Whipstock
A whipstock is a wedge-shaped tool used in directional drilling to deflect the drill bit from its original path. It’s primarily used for sidetracking, which involves creating a new wellbore path from an existing one. There are two main types of whipstocks: retrievable and permanent.
- Retrievable Whipstock: This type can be removed from the wellbore after use. It’s typically used when temporary deviation is needed
- Permanent Whipstock: This type remains in the wellbore after the deflection is achieved. It’s often used for long-term sidetracking operations
The whipstock is set in the wellbore at the kickoff point, and the drill bit is guided along the concave groove of the whipstock to create the desired deviation. This process allows for precise control over the well trajectory, making it a crucial tool in the oil and gas industry.

Thru Tubing Solutions
Middle East Bridge LLC (MEB) specializes in Thru Tubing services, offering advanced well intervention solutions to enhance well performance without removing the production tubing. Using coiled tubing and workover technologies, MEB provides milling, fishing, cleanouts, perforation, and stimulation to address downhole challenges efficiently.
With cutting-edge tools like the Gelton saw, whipstock systems, and precision milling solutions, MEB ensures precise and reliable interventions in both open and cased hole wells. These solutions effectively tackle sand buildup, scale deposits, and mechanical failures, reducing downtime and operational costs for oilfield operators.
Committed to delivering high-quality, efficient, and innovative well intervention services, MEB plays a crucial role in remedial work, completions, and reservoir management, helping clients maximize hydrocarbon recovery while maintaining well integrity.

Wellhead Cutting & cold cutting
The Guillotine pipe saw is designed to be clamped onto a wellhead’s (using either a chain clamp or hydraulic auto clamp), and cut through the casing using an oscillating saw motion.
Pipe cold cutting machine is conceived for cutting and beveling in workshops and for onsite applications (e.g. pipelines construction and/or maintenance).
The machine is designed to work on pipelines and has a split frame body that allows the installation on every point of the pipeline.
The pipe cold cutting machine can cut and bevel pipes with diameters between 1″ and 43″.
